Terms and Conditions
All the PARTICIPANTS must make themselves aware of the terms and conditions and accept the risk associated with the activities, each guest must be responsible for taking out the appropriate personal accident, holiday and cancelation insurance for the full duration of the PROGRAMS.
PAYMENT POLICY
To reserve a spot on a specified class, tour or training, a non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required upon RESERVATION. After a confirmation has been emailed to you, a courtesy hold requires payment within 3 working days to secure the reservation.
FULL PAYMENT (the balance) must be made within 30 days of the SUP Yoga Teacher Training date.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Please note, even if you have private health insurance in your respective Country of residence, it is unlikely that this insurance will cover overseas trips such as the activities (SUP Yoga Classes, SUP Tours or SUP Yoga Teacher Training) offered by Stand Up Training®.
It is your responsibility to organize suitable travel and health insurance. Although we strongly encourage you to do so, you acknowledge that Stand Up Training® is not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.
CANCELLATIONS
"Cancellation" is defined as not attending your scheduled activity (SUP Yoga Class, SUP Tour or SUP Yoga Teacher Training) including postponing or rescheduling. "You" refers to the guest booking a Stand Up Training® activity (SUP Yoga Class, SUP Tour or SUP Yoga Teacher Training). "We" refers to Stand Up Training®.
It is your RESPONSIBILITY to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their activity, but unexpected things do happen and we analyze all the cases separately.
TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance may pay for some or all cancellation fees. Strictly for informational purposes and not to be relied upon, with most agencies, this type of insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation to optimize your level of protection.
GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY
Depending on when you cancel, CANCELLATIONS FEE may apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule ("The Cancellation fee schedule"):
- If you cancel 60 days or more before your activity/training start date, you will be refunded the full booking fee amount.
- If you cancel 30 – 59 days before your activity/training start date, you will be refunded 70% of the full booking fee/payment.
- If you cancel 15 – 29 days before your activity/training start date, you will be refunded 40% of the full booking fee/payment.
- If you cancel 14 days or less before your activity/training start date, you will forfeit the full booking fee/payment.
STAND UP TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY
While we have never cancelled an activity/training to date and will endeavor to maintain this record, if Stand Up Training® must cancel or change a scheduled activity/training date for any reason whatsoever, you're entitled to transfer your full activity/training payment to another (either scheduled or at some future time). Alternatively you may request a refund of your applicable payment, which will be accommodated for insofar as is possible, taking into consideration any non-retrievable costs to which we committed in anticipation of your activity/training.
PASSPORTS, VISAS AND DOCUMENTS
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain a VALID PASSPORT, visa(s) and necessary certificates for any country to be visited in connection with a Stand Up Training® activity/training.
GENERAL WAIVER
You acknowledge that during an activity/training you participate voluntarily in any and all activities arranged by Stand Up Training®, and insofar as legally permissible, surrender your right to any cause of action against Stand Up Training® arising from any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during an activity/training.
PHOTO / VIDEO RELEASE FORM
I hereby grant to Stand Up Training® the absolute and irrevocable RIGHT and unrestricted PERMISSION to use photographic portraits / images / videos in which I feature that are taken during the course of the activity or training to use / republish / copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with Stand Up Training®'s business.
I hereby release and discharge Stand Up Training® from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
