Meet the founder!
RITA PIRES, a former European Champion of Surfing, moved to Bali by the beginning of 2014 after 20 years travelling around the world for training and competing… Rita found in Bali the perfect conditions for surfing with amazing weather, outstanding reef breaks and the ideal environment to deeply connect with the nature and with herself. Her passion for surfing and outdoor activities led Rita to pioneer a new sport trend, based on her know-how and life experience - the combination of Stand Up Paddle and Yoga.

Our gear: costumized boards.
At the Stand Up Training® we are proud to offer our guests with exclusive services, from the moment we are in contact with You, right until the end of your experience.
One of the factors that make us different is our equipment that we use during the activities. Developed with the best raw material of PVC and the most advanced inflatable technology, our SUP boards can fit anywhere and be taken everywhere with ease. With the assistance of a small air pump, we can transform a compact volume of 90cm by 45cm into a 10 foot board, in less than 5 minutes.
Driving for a few hours through winding roads to explore the most remote places of the island is much more possible without having to carry large boards on top of the car. To set up a tour with a group of people is no longer a problem. We can fit up to 6 people and 6 boards comfortably in one vehicle.
