"It was the best trip during my entire stay in Bali, off the main tourist track and a brilliant adventure. SUP is a brilliant way to discover the lakes of the island... Absolutely loved it :) And the water falls were amazing! I will never forget this experience."

"I lived a wonderful experience when I tried SUP in Bali. First, I met a part of the island that I couldn't imagine that exist: the lakes on the mountain. Second, the professionalism of Rita makes us feel safe and enjoy the moments in the SUP to the maximum. I truly recommend to everyone!"

The SUP experience with Rita was really fantastic... Rita took me and my family to a secret beach in Bali, that I don't even knew that exist! When we get there everybody was blown away! Then we got ready for the paddling session which was much easier than I was expecting. All the family enjoyed the experience, even my parents and my sister that don't know how to swim, handled it very well!!! 100% safe and smooth...

"What a fantastic way to experience Bali! We started off bright and early with a scenic car ride up north. We had a stop at Ulu Danu Temple, which was absolutely beautiful. The manicured gardens and picturesque view of the temple on the lake was really special to experience. We carried on our trip further up into the hills, surrounded by strawberry fields and misty roads. We had a swim in the refreshing water of the Git Git waterfall and headed towards Tamblingan Lake, where we spent the afternoon Stand Up Paddling around the lake. This was truly such an amazing way to experience the true nature of Bali. I would love to experience it again and highly recommend this escape to absolutely everyone!"

"Stand Up Training's Amed adventure is amazing. The water is crystal clear and sea life everywhere. We showed up and filled up the boards and were off on an adventure above and below the sea. The combination of freediving and stand up paddling allowed us to easily go out to the edge of the bay where the colorful coral reef drops off and sea life is abundant. Tying the sups together gave us a great freediving platform so we could easily float just over the drop off on the reef for a controlled breath up. Amed is a perfect location with scenic views and calm water for any level of stand up paddling and or freediving. And with multiple dive sites all in a close vicinity there are endless opportunities for exploration..."

Full description of a SUP Tour
"When I first heard of stand up paddle I thought it was just another one of those trends that wouldn't last. Standing in a board ready to paddle aimlessly in a pond or in a calm sea? Boring, that's what I thought. But as a girl eager for new experiences and crazy enough to stick my nose in everything, I had to try it. And I experienced it in the most “superstar” way. I could say that I went to Bali on purpose but no, i’m not that crazy. I went to Bali to spend a dreamy honeymoon, and to enrich me with maximum cultural, social and fun experiences as possible. Once in Bali, Rita and Romeo invited us to do SUP in a pond in Serangan, South of Denpasar, capital of Bali.
We left early and we parked in a goat path that was actually full of cows. There were a lot of them, skinny and totally indifferent to the six passengers who were there to follow the walk to the pond. I realized then that there was a whole ritual a "SUPer" (person who practices SUP, of course) have to obey. As in a camper mode, we have settled down and we started filling the three boards that came packed in backpacks. Pumping under the Indonesian Sun is as exotic as exhausting but worth it. After learning all the security procedures now I was on top of the board. First on my knees and then standing, no wind and no waves and I was ready to paddle out to infinity. Or, at least, up to the end of the lagoon where the Sea began. Although I had some difficulty in finding the best way to grab the paddle, I never fell. I felt I was moving muscles I didn't even know I had but knowing I was doing that so well, really pleased me and made me relax. Soon three hours passed but the tan I got lasted a few more weeks. I had that feeling of having made sport without effort at the same time we all have created a special empathy with that water and all of those trees that surrounded the pond.
I can say my first stand up paddle experience was really good and now I understand why everyone likes it so much. I hope this trend lasts! It’s challenging, it’s relaxing, and it’s fun. I will definitely try it again this summer.
